But it really bothered me that the outer screen/glass door still had beat up old brass.
Freckle Man was kind enough to take all the pieces off for me. I laid them all out on a flattened cereal box in the garage.
And Freckle Man even had a ready-made stand that I could stick the door handle into.
All it took was three quick coats of Rustoleum's brushed nickel spray paint. Have I mentioned how much I love Rustoleum's spray paints?
And ta-da! By the next day the door had a whole new look!

I just love how a $7 can of paint and a little bit of time makes the small details.
