They're popular as an accent in the kitchen...
...and are a natural fit for kids bedrooms and play rooms.
Some folks are framing them...
...or creating calendars.
Personally, I like them, in theory. But two things make them a big fat NAY for me. 1. The dust is messy and frankly, I need something else to clean up like I need a hole in the head. And 2. When they've actually been written on a few times, they end up messy looking. If we painted a chalk wall, it wouldn't look like any of the beautiful pictures above, but maybe more like this:
So what do you think of the chalk board wall craze? Yay or nay?
