Holiday Recap {Exciting Yet Exhausting}

Happy holidays! I hope everyone that celebrates had a lovely Christmas. Ours was a whirlwind of family get togethers, presents, and delicious food.

Little Freckle Girl was a little confused by Santa, the Elf on the Shelf, and when everything was happening. But she really enjoyed herself. Of course her favorite gifts are the loudest, most annoying toys ever made, but that's how it goes with 3 year olds. Here she is on Christmas Eve.

This sequence of pictures cracks me up. Freckle Boy was barely tolerating having his picture taken with his sisters...and then they went in for a kiss! DENIED. He can only handle so much!

Freckle Boy got a DS and an iPod Touch so, basically, we haven't seen him since Christmas. Freckle Diva got these random Moon Shoes from her uncle. It took a little practice to get the hang of jumping and bouncing but now she practically lives in the things. She's a blurry, hopping ball of energy!

This year I had fun picking gifts for everyone, looking for the "just right" present. I think I nailed it on a couple, which feels great. My family showered me with lots of fun presents too. My personal favorites were a tripod, which I can't wait to play with, the West Elm owl cookie jar and speakers. Since the owl speakers were on back order, my mom gave me this adorable stuffed animal. The girls keep trying to steal it, but I want to keep it for myself!
I think we finally have everything unpacked, the boxes and wrapping paper cleaned up, and all the toys in their new homes. On to New Year's Eve and trash the house again!
